Letter from Tex Polk to Sam Myres saying that he had heard from a local saddle maker about Myres moving his business to El Paso; Polk says he believes that that will be a good move for the business due to the central location of El Paso. He also asks Myres if he has any positions open because Polk would love to work for him. It's written on personal letterhead.

The pages are all stamped in red with the text "Confirmation of Phone Order." The letter is dated April 1988, but it is in an envelope postmarked February 1986, addressed to the S. D. Myres Saddle Co. in Massachusetts.

Myres Company to have them taken in four inches due to the fact that his waist is smaller after the weight loss. He also says that he rode using only saddles made by the S. D. Myres Saddle Company due to their superior quality until he stopped riding.

Letter from John B. Ward to Frank La Croix at the S. D. Myres Saddle Company responding to an order for a dummy 4" Colt Diamondback and a 4" Diamondback. The letter is typed on Colt Industries letterhead and there are a number of handwritten notes and doodles on the page.

Letter from Ernest Daniel to the S. D. Myres Saddle Company discussing their interest in Daniel selling them his plot of land located near their manufacturing plant. Daniel, though appreciative of the offer, expresses a desire to keep the plot of land so he can eventually retire and move there.

Letter from John Black to Sam Myres discussing an order for a holster and discussing possible linings that he would prefer. The envelope is addressed to the S. D. Myres Saddle Company and postmarked 1951.

Letter from B. H. Stewart to W. J. Myres discussing that the city of Sweetwater accidentally made a mistake on the deed of the plot of land in the local cemetery that W.J. Myres purchased. They ask that Myres returns the deed to their office and they will make the appropriate corrections on it.

Letter from Sam Myres to Judge R. C. Crane apologizing for taking so long to write him back after his kind letter asking how Myers was doing. Myres explains that he has been avoiding doing work, and paying honest obligations and so that is why he has not responded. He tells Crane about a new book out that he has enjoyed and if Crane is interested, offers to mail it to him so he can also read it. Myres says that the next time he is in Sweet Water, he hopes to meet up with Crane to catch up.
