Davis understands that the need for space is great, but NTIEVA has proven themselves to be a viable operation with consistent external funding for its program, along with a major outreach for UNT. Davis writes that in the last five years the Institute has generated more than 1,400,000 in grant funds and has only grown more steadily with each passing year. Thus with the expansion of the program, Davis requests more space to continue their operations as their previous space has become overly crowded.

At the end of the letter is a list of specialists and educators who want to partake in the Gulbenkian project, the group which originally had five people in participant is up to seven. The writer asks Connie if there is room in the fees to pay for two more.

Broadus would also like to discuss the possible future in-services with DISD, since Dallas is a consortium member of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts.
