[Correspondence Between Charles William Sloman and Two Reverends]
Correspondence between Charles William Sloman and Reverend William McCracken concerning the sending of the marriage certificate of Charles and Sarah Sloman when they were married in New Orleans. Sloman's letter was received in New Orleans at Rector Grace Church, and forwarded to McCracken in Nebraska; he had moved here from New Orleans and the letter dated July 6, 1891 asks the new reverend there to send him the information needed. The final letter is sent to Sloman from McCracken in which he says he had enclosed the marriage certificate.

Anna Boyd writes that Will's twins are in school and the new baby always wants to be outside. The school district is putting a suspension foot bridge for the children to cross on. He hoped they enjoyed themselves and wanted to go with them to visit family. John has only one son to help him farm and Will has two, but they are still too young. H. S. Moore writes that John will finish gathering corn, and he lifted a sheep out of mud. He mentions the clouds and that Anna Boyd's letter is included in the envelope. He also says that Priest has improved a little.

This is a letter from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Lula Dalton and is addressed to Linnet Moore. The letters are dated April 28, 1899 and May 1, 1899. In these first two letters, Lula informs Linnet of the goings-on in her community. The news includes: a discussion about her wrapper and hat, a dialogue about going riding with the White's and Lorena, and details about going to visit the Taylor family. [Letters from Charles B. Moore to Mary Ann Moore, November 30 - December 2, 1897]
This is a letter from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Charles B. Moore and is addressed to Mary Ann Moore. In this letter, Moore discusses the goings-on in Collin County since Mary's departure to Tennessee. He details community news and the health of friends, daily chores, weather updates, and a discussion about leading the calves to water. At the end of this letter, he notes that bright has paid him five dollars in interest and tell Mary the most current temperature reading. In the letter dated December 1-2, 1897, Moore informs Mary Ann of the goings-on in Collin County. He details Linnet's and his daily chores and discusses community news with Mary. This is a letter from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Lula Dalton and is addressed to Linnet. In this letter, Lula details for Linnet the goings-on in Burnet, Texas. She discusses rainy weather they have been having, memories about Cuckle Burr Hill, updates about friends and their plans, sad news about a friend's death, and a dialogue about going riding with Flora. Letter from Charles B. Moore to Mary Moore about his activities since Christmas. He says that Bill Bounds made a trip to Texas, but was not met at the stations by friends. He states that Lila Franklin telephoned Bill Bounds to invite him to have Christmas with her family. Mr. Moore relates the details of the murder of one of the Combs brothers. His brother is in jail as he is believe to be the murderer. Tommie Horn came to stay with Mr. Moore while Linnet went out to a party. He wants Mary to ask Will if there is a connection between phosphate and the old dye stone Will's father used as a building material.

Letter to Linnet Moore from Claude White in which he asks her not to share his letters with her friends. He wants to keep his courtship with her a private matter. He tells her that confidential friends have given him "more trouble than any one else on earth." He says that he presumes that she has "quit" Tommie by this time. Claude says that he may place him as the cashier of the Santa Fe Route Eating House. He wants to get a place on the Frisco line, near Dallas. He says that he will try to return to see her as soon as he can.
