Pope advises of enclosed letters that were promised by him to Carswell. Pope states, "Probably, we should protect the City Drug Store of Munday, Texas". A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from Mrs. Jeff Methven, Stenographer, United Texas Drys, dated March 4, 1941. Methven complies to a request from Carswell and supplies copies of a letter. She advises that she is replying only to the questions to which she knows the answers noting that her father is out of town.

Sayles, requesting Sprayberry look for a duplicate check from the Indian Territory Illuminating Oil Company for costs related to the suit and to refund the check if found.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Walter O. Osborn. The second letter, which is from Mr. Osborn, requests from Dr. Osborn that a section of his textbook be found and mailed to him for research purposes. The first letter is a response from Dr. Bodansky.

Letter to Dr. Meyer Bodansky from the Chairman of the Program Committee of the Texas Society of Medical Technologists Elizabeth West. The letter, which is dated May 4, 1941, informs Dr. Bodansky that his copy of the program of the ninth annual convention of the society is being sent to him.

Letter and transcript from the editor of the Missouri State Medical Association Walter Baurgaeten to Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The letter, which is date June 4, 1941, states that the transcript of the portion of the round table discussion of the Annual Session meeting that Dr. Bodansky participated in is enclosed. The letter thanks Dr. Bodansky and also asks him to make any corrections and send it back to the editor before it is published. The discussion includes several different topics in medicine, particularly the treatment and diagnosis of rat bite fever. Several handwritten notations and corrections made by Dr. Bodansky are visible on all of the pages.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Molly J. Walder, dated June 4, 1941. The first letter, which is from Rose Framer on behalf of Dr. Meyer Bodansky, informs Mrs. Walder that Dr. Bodansky has been severely ill however will respond to her letter as soon as he is able. The second letter, which is from Ms. Walder, asks of the status of her brother's consideration for admission into medical school.

Letter from Dr. Bodansky to Elizabeth West informing her of his possible dates so that he might be available for the Texas Society of Medical Technologists meeting.

A letter addressed to Mr. E. Tracy Sweet, Editor, Scrantonian, Scranton, Pennsylvania, from T. N. Carswell, For the Committee on Americanism, American Legion, dated December 4, 1941. The letter contains a promotion of a "What is Americanism?" campaign. The campaign is defined as "seeking more light in the form of a contribution", the contribution being the answer to the question, "What is Americanism?". The answer will then be used "to help stimulate an AMERICANISM REVIVAL comparable in results to the periods of the Revolution, the Making of the Constitution, and the Civil War" stressing that the country's destiny depends on these answers. E. Tracy Sweet defines Americanism in a reply typewritten near the bottom of page before the complimentary close.

A letter written to Commander T. N. Carswell, The American Legion, Parramore Post, Abilene, Texas, from M. H. McIntyre, Secretary to the President, The White House, Washington, dated August 4, 1941. McIntyre expresses his appreciation for the telegram from Carswell and Ellis on behalf of the Post members adding that the President will be grateful for the loyal interest evidenced and for the word of approval.

A letter addressed to the Commanding General, 45th Division, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, from T. N. Carswell, dated January 4, 1941. Carswell advises of a correction to his letter of January 2. He advises that it was written in the interest of himself as Purchasing Agent for the Canteens in the Abilene Camp [Camp Barkeley].
