Letter from the Superintendent of Documents to the Chief Librarian requesting recall of a distributed publication entitled, "Logistics in World War II, final report of the Army Service Forces." The recalled item was returned to the Government Printing Office.

A letter from Dr. Arthur Sampley, North Texas State Teacher's College Library Director, to the Honorable Ed Gossett, representative to the U.S. House of Representative for the thirteenth congressional district. In this letter, Dr. Sampley is requesting Rep. Gossett's help with designating the NTSTC Library as a federal depository library.

Included here are a series of letters from North Texas State Teacher's College (NTSTC) President, Dr. W.J. McConnell to the delegation of United States Senators from Texas, Honorable Morris Sheppard and Honorable Tom Connelly, requesting assistance in obtaining designation as a depository library for the NTSTC Library. The letters show that Senator Morris already used his designation for Southwestern University in Georgetown. This was confirmed by Superintendent of Documents, Alton Tisdale. The NTSTC Library was not designated a depository library at this time.
