[Letter from Mary H. Langford to Thelma Rice - 1992]

Letter from Mary H. Langford to Thelma Rice discussing the use of funds to host an expensive gala at the upcoming National Assembly of The Links, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. She and other members of the Spokane chapter believe it is inappropriate to hold a lavish party at the National Assembly during an economic recession that is taking a toll on so many Americans, and particularly on black families.
