Executive Correspondence – Letter dtd 06/22/05 to Chairman Principi from Minnesota Representative James Oberstar expressing concern that, although the BRAC process is supposed to focus on infrastructure, the 2005 recommendations call for the retirement of the 148th Fighter Wing’s F-16 fighters. The Representative also finds it unusual that the USAF’s Future Total Force (FTF) plan also calls for the retirement of the same aircraft and many jobs in 2007.
