Sam Wallace came to visit and is not as proud as he used to be. She has been cleaning. Mollie's Nephew writes a few lines. He writes about how helpful he has been. He mentions he has new clothes and shoes. He has helped his mother clean and has been fishing. He caught a turtle. Dinkie mentions she has no way to go visit Bettie and is happy with the Sunday school Willie and Sissie go to. She wants to go to town and get a hat and dress. She really wants them to visit and asks that they write soon.
