A letter written to "Mother" and "Peg" [Byrdie Carswell and Peggy Carswell], from "Daddy" [T. N. Carswell], dated February 20, 1933. Carswell advises of his travel plans, his preparation for the Lions Program and the Radford testimonial dinner ["50 Years of building Abilene"] noting the late work hours, hard work and no money. His postscript refers to late nights and tells about going to Breckenridge to the Lions Conference taking Mrs. Sandefer with him, his returning at 5 p.m., reading awhile, of going to Church then over to Barnes playing checkers and talking until late.
