[Transcript of Letter from Samuel Stamps to Stephen F. Austin, August 28, 1832]
Copy of transcript for a letter from Samuel Stamps to Stephen F. Austin, in which Stamps asks Austin to confirm the death of Mr. McLaughlin. Stamps is interested in recovering money that McLaughlin borrowed but never repaid. Stamps also asks Austin for confirmation that Baker Larkin is dead in order to relieve the Larkin's family of the uncertainty, as well as, to provide some description of the character of Charles Pulsom.
