The first letter Mr. Bradford hurriedly describes his experience with the British Army and Canadian Army. Additionally, he mentions that a transfer from the British Army to the U.S. Army or Air Force is expected to be in the works. The second letter, Mr. Bradford mentions that he is still living in Washington at the address attached to the letter. The majority of this letter, Mr. Bradford speaks about his experiences with Mack and Bean firefighting trucks in both America and Italy.

Kempner Cotton Company asking them to fill out a questionnaire to help him collect data for a research project about "comparative labor efficiency in the United States and abroad". He says that he is looking exclusively at "innate qualities of the labor force". An "Intent of Inquiry" and the questionnaire mentioned in the letter are attached.
