Letter from I. H. Kempner to Oscar R. Armstrong discussing the recent passing of Mr. Armstrong's mother and comforting him with words about how great his mother was in life. He asks to have someone call him the next day with the date for the funeral so Mrs. Kempner and he can attend. Mr. Kempner informs Mr. Armstrong that he is available any day but Thursday as his sister is coming into town.
