Included with the letter are two confirmation emails from Expedia.com and a boarding pass for her flight to Washington, D.C.

Onionskin paper carbon copy of letter from John J. Herrera to Mr. and Mrs. William R. Childress, dated October 14, 1976. In the letter, Herrera thanks the recipients for their hospitality.

A handwritten letter written in response to William Waybourn, who had previously written to Judge Marshall to express gratitude for Marshall's May 1988 ruling in favor of the Dallas Gay Alliance against Parkland Hospital. Marshall states that he was moved by Waybourn's letter and sees Waybourn's response as proof that a judge's decisions "really do have an impact on our times."
