Reynolds continues, wanting to let Fletcher know that the Ghost Ranch Spring Retreat idea has become reality, and that she'll send details in the upcoming newsletter. The retreat is for twenty adults for the nights of March 14 - 18 at Ghost Ranch Conference Center north of Aliquiu, New Mexico. Reynolds mentions that participants can go on to mini-seminars and excursions or just enjoy free time and relax. Attached to the letter is Fletcher's evaluation summary.

Paul Getty Trust, for review yet being unaware of his schedule she cannot give them a specific notification date of the funding approvals or deny. Rosenberg thanks Davis and McCarter for the informative progress report and has made a series of comments and questions that she would like answered and returned no later than September 1, 1994.

The focus of the groups are to determine if there should be an increase in communication about DBAE. The focus groups will be made up of school administrators, principals, superintendents, and such.

The calendars should include meetings of advisory committees, consortium, faculty, management and so forth. Rosenberg also writes that for the upcoming National Conference that each institute only bring 500 copies of their brochure for handouts and omit any newsletters as they aren't necessary.

A letter from Elliot Eisner, Professor of Education and Art, Sandford University, to R. William McCarter, Co-director, North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, about clearing up McCarter's confusion about Eisner's development of curriculum units. McCarter had earlier sent a letter expressing their surprisement of Eisner not focusing their attention of the analysis of curriculum units. Eisner states that they are enclosing three documents, letter of November 19, letter of January 27, and a agenda that Eisner prepared with their letter of January 27 as proof that they explicitly said they would be developing curriculum units instead of analyzing curriculum units. Eisner goes on to state that if McCarter had any reservations about the line of work, they could've written to Eisner.

A letter from Annette Bertanzetti, Coordinator of Contracts and Evaluations at the Texas Commission on the Arts, to Mark Elder, Assistant Vice President of Research at the University of North Texas, about an upcoming deadline regarding Elder's evaluation report for the NTIEVA project. Bertanzetti states that failure to turn in the evaluation report within 30 days following the completion of Elder's project may result in the withdrawal of any outstanding grants to NTIEVA and the jeopardizing of any future grant request to TCA. Bertanzetti notes if Elder is unable to comply with the deadline, he has within 10 days that he can ask Bertanzetti for assistance. Bertanzetti also cc's D. Jack Davis within the letter.
