Letter from Harris Leon Kempner to Sandy handing his draft card and letter of advice from the board. Kempner mentions that they're still waiting to hear from the university and mentions about a dormitory which seems more like an apartment which Sandy might be interested in. He asks if he has anyone in the mind as his roommate or should they simply leave it on the luck.

Letter from Arthur M. Alpert to Messrs. Girard Trust Corn Exchange Bank in regards to the payment done towards fractional share of Rohm & Haas company stock. And requests for the certificate covering this one share to be forwarded to them.

Letter from I. H. Kempner to Rabbi Newton j. Friedman explaining that, after receiving prior correspondence from Rabbi Friedman, Kempner forwarded the letter to a Mr. Schapiro seeing as he was able to investigate applicants. Kempner also adds an afternote about hearing of Rabbi Cohen taking a fall and severely injuring himself, sharing the details of the circumstances surrounding the injury as well as what hospital Rabbi Cohen was admitted to.
