Adamson, Colonel, U.S.A., Ret'd, Military Secretary, Washington, dated December 5, 1941. Adamson explains that General Pershing directed him to acknowledge the letter from Carswell requesting his opinion of Americanism and that he commends the campaign but declines to respond to any requests citing that too many were received to be able answer them all.
