Letter from Benjamin R. Harris to Dr. Bodansky informing him that the recent request of sulphoacetates made by Dr. Bodansky will be delayed due to the Emulsol Corporation having a chocolate hearing soon after the conclusion of the oleomargarine hearing. He does state that the lecithin that was requested will be sent out and goes on to discuss the composition of various similar lecithin products.

Harris to Dr. Bodansky, giving a brief description of the conference between him and Dr. Calvary, who discussed the purpose of feeding tests at high levels which is to study whether a substance is toxic or not. If the substance turns out to be toxic, it then goes into long-term testing to study for any chronic effects. If the substance is not toxic, it proceeds to a feeding test. The letter goes on to discuss how Dr. Calvary was unreasonable when it came to helping the Emulsol Corporation at times.

Letters between Dr. Bodansky and Benjamin R. Harris discussing the amounts of monostearin sodium sulphoacetate and the Emulsol Corporation's emargol. Letter from Dr. Bodansky and Mr. Kenneth L. Cartwright, asking for more dried yeast extract. and dried yeast extract for animal experimentation. Letter from Kenneth L. Cartwright to Dr. Bodansky, informing him that the dried yeast concentrate, used by Dr. A. O. Welch in a yeast experiment, was discontinued and instead offers ten similar dried yeast concentrates.

Letter to Dr. Theodore L. Terry, dated November 4, 1940. The letter, which is from an unknown sender, explains to Dr. Terry that he was not reimbursed for a phone call that he made at a hotel while visiting with the sender. The sender informs Dr. Terry that he has included with the letter money to cover the call, and thanks him for a joyful visit. The right-hand side of the letter has several tears in it.

Letter from Alex Bradford to Earl F. Theisinger discussing how sorry he was for missing his bus to Mexico. Bradford wants Earl to give him a call once he's in town.

Letter from Alex Bradford to E. N. Jay Johnson discussing his experiences of the London blitz by the Germans during World War II. Mr. Bradford mentions that moral is high amidst the craters made by extensive bombing. Mr. Bradford also shares his thoughts on two (2) movies depicting this high moral, “England Can Take it” and “The Foreign Correspondent”. Finally, he touches on the Royal Air Force’s pushback against the German war machine.
