He instructs him to have Dr. Cupples go to Galveston to meet Mr. Maqueray and route the new colonists through Corpus Christi. He includes details of Huth's appointment as Director and three other commissions. A postscript states that Mr. Maqueray will be unable to leave and a replacement must be found. Signed Hr. He also dictates his wishes for the construction of his house and gardens and states that he expects to bring with him a large number of families with money when he returns. He also discusses the arrival of 88 colonists on the Alberdena and the upcoming arrival of the Cronstadt with 110 passengers. He instructs Huth to immediately head to Corpus Christi to meet the convoy. In closing, he informs him of his plan to leave on April 5th for probably arrival in mid June. Signed H.
