[Handwritten Title Transfer from James Sellers to C. C. Paine, March 7, 1900]

Document stating James Sellers of Centre Point in Kerr County has applied to lease land for $19.20; the table on the front outlines the section of land, and the company that James Sellers leased the land from. There is a handwritten statement on the back of the document that shows Sellers releasing his rights to the lease to C. C. Paine for $135; the second statement shows Paine releasing his rights to the lease to George L. Leigh for $135 as well. Also included is a small strip of paper with a statement that reads: "When remitting future payments, to guard against errors and insure prompt returns, please give the NAME of lessee and the application NUMBER."

[Copy of a Chattel Mortgage Agreement Between W. H. and Allie H. Bonnell and Charles Schreider Bank]

Copy of a chattel mortgage agreement between W. H. and Allie H. Bonnell and Charles Schreiner Bank in the total amount of $3,500 to be due on the first of December 1925. In this agreement Bonnell is putting up his flock of goats and sheep, as well as his stock of cattle, as collateral to secure the payment on this note; if the debt is not paid Schreiner has the authority to sell the property. Attached is a certificate acknowledging that this copy has been filed; also there is a statement printed at the bottom stating that this agreement is "given in renewal of balance owing by us to said Chas. Schreiner Bank on a certain note of date the 17th July, 1922."

Transfer of vendor's lien note from W. H. Bonnell to Miss May F. A. Huntoon; Bonnell sold the note to Huntoon for the sum of $2,000 to be paid "on or before 19th day of September, 1931." According to this document, this transfer is only for note No. 5, which is one of five given by J. R. Logsdon; this note was "in part payment for...800 acres of land out of Survey's Nos. 100 in the names of Geo. Smith..."

This particular deed asserts that the couple has paid of the promissory note worth $800, due on January 17, 1919; C. C. Jones releases his interest and claims to the land described in the original deed of trust.

Four tax documents from Kerr County, two of which are dated January 31, 1899 and the other two are dated January 31, 1900. Two of the documents were sent to George L. Leigh and two were sent to Edward B. Leigh; each document states the amount of taxes and the value for property that was assessed. The fifth document was sent to George L. Leigh and says the taxes taken amounted to $14.25.

According to the document Bonnell has a debt totaled at $5,000 to be paid by November 1, 1917; as collateral, Bonnell is putting up his entire flock of goats and sheep to Schreiner if the debt was not able to be paid off. The document stipulates that Schreiner would have authority to sell off said property if Bonnell was not able to pay off the debt.

Document that relates to the case of Edward Prince vs. Mrs. C. F. Bonnell et al, accused of deed fraud, originally decided May 8, 1895. This document is a citation summoning W. H. Bonnell and Mrs. C. F. Bonnell "to be and appear before the Honorable District Court of Kerr County." Prince claims that the deeds created by W. H. Bonnell to Mrs C. F. Bonnell are "without valuable consideration in law and are fraudulent" and the lands mentioned in the deeds should be "sold and foreclosed."

Release of vendor's lien from Allie H. Bonnell to E. B. Davis from which the original lien conveyed to him real estate in Kerr County in the "L. A. Wyatt addition to the town of Center Point, Kerr County, Texas, and known as lots Nos. 9 and 11." The original vendor's lien was to secure the payment of $3,500 and E. B. Davis executed three promissory notes to be paid on January 1st of 1932, 1933, 1934; the end of the document states that he has fulfilled and paid the notes and Bonnell acknowledges that the her hold on the land and lien has extinguished.

Deed from Charles F. and Florence J. de Ganahl to Edward B. Leigh confirming the deed made the prior day on October 19, 1897; Leigh purchase the land known as "survey No. 38 in section No. 2" for the amount of ten dollars. The second half of the deed, prepared by the U. S. Consul from Tampico, Mexico, acknowledges that Florence J. de Ganahl "acknowledged such instrument to me to be her act and deed, and she declared that she had willingly signed..." Also included is the envelope in which this document was mailed in; it has text that describes the deed inside.
