The construction of the new homes was funded by the Dallas Citizens' Interracial Association. All of the houses have been sold, excluding the two model homes; this plan, found by Jerome Crossman, solved the housing shortage in Hamilton Park, and the Dallas Citizens' Interracial Association plans to make eighty more homes.
