Interview with Pauline Dixon, a teacher and longtime resident of Hamilton Park from Pittsburg, Texas. Dixon discusses her education, her father's work as assistant sheriff in segregated Pittsburg, the Classroom Teachers of Dallas, moving to Hamilton Park, development of the area, the "buy out" of the neighborhood, the Civic League, desegregation and busing, and her political work.

This report describes the findings of a study conducted on the watersheds of "Lake Lewisville, Lake Ray Roberts, Lake Grapevine and the Elm Fork of the Trinity River between Lake Lewisville and Frazier Dam," which are all part of the upper Trinity drainage basin (p. 31). The study examines the potential benefit of "remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) for watershed management" in and around Dallas, Texas (p. i).

Interview with Arthur and Louise Caillet Dieterich, owners and operators of Hermosa Farms, Dallas, Texas. The interview includes the Dieterich's personal experiences about farming in Dallas, education, and establishing Hermosa Farms. The Dieterich's talk about their family backgrounds, Arthur's employment as operator of dairy cooperative with his brother in El Paso, Texas, the effect of the Great Depression on Dallas dairy businesses, milk processing and delivery operations, a typical day on a dairy farm, their change from retail to wholesale business, developing dairy herd, their cooperation with agricultural experiment stations, personnel practices, and civic and trade association activities. The interview includes an appendix with a family history written by Louise Caillet Dieterich.
