The Guidelines for Digital Newspaper Preservation Readiness address a specific set of preservation challenges faced by libraries, archives, historical societies, and other organizations that curate substantial collections of digital newspaper content. The Guidelines are intended to inform curators and collection managers at libraries, archives, historical societies, and other such memory organizations about various practical readiness activities that they can take. They provide links to technical resources that curators can either implement themselves or work with their technical staff to implement. The Guidelines (Version 1.0) only deal with digital newspapers at this point, not broadcast or other forms of digital news.

Bishop discusses choosing to become a Marine Corps officer, attending the Naval Academy, being a female in the Corps, experiences and combat in Iraq in 2005-06, life as a Marine parent, attending Army Airborne School, the Advanced Degree Program and graduate school, leadership and decision making, the relationship between enlisted and officers, women in combat, plans for the future, and some general reflections. An appendix includes a short chronology of Bishop's military career.

Interview with Dulcie Barnier Dreyspring, Australian-born immigrant to Fort Worth, Texas, for the DFW Metroplex Immigrants Oral History Project. The interview includes Dreyspring's personal experiences of childhood in Australia, interactions with American soldiers during World War II, the Japanese invasion of Australia, her first visit to the U.S., first impressions of America, her first marriage to an American, and her return to Australia for the immigration process. Interview with longtime Denton residents Frank and Betty Ann Barrow for the Denton County Historical Commission. It also includes Betty Ann's family history and how they coped with the Great Depression, information on her education at North Texas State College, and her personal experiences about marriage, the death of her husband in a flying accident, widowhood, her marriage to Frank Barrow, her clothing business, and working to liberalize Denton race relations.
