Recruitment card belonging to Edgar Brown Sutherlin. It reads: "U. S. Naval Recruiting Station, 1421 Masonic Temple, Chicago, Ill. No. 241. Name: Sutherlin, E. B. Rate: Landsman for Training. Date: APR 3 - 1902." Sutherlin signed the back of the card.

Three bank notes prepared for J. E. M. Yates. The first acknowledges that J. M. Davis will pay him $15 with an interest rate of 10% per annum as of January 1, 1906. The second note is dated October 1, 1906 and says that P. C. Davis "one year after date, I, we, or either of us, promise to pay...twenty seven and 45/100 Dollars." The third note is dated January 16, 1902 and stipulates that P. C. Davis "On Oct 1st 1902 after date I, we, or, either of us, promise to pay to the order of J. E. M. Yates" $18 with ten percent interest.

Resolution made by the San Simon Cattle and Canal Company Board of Directors electing for the company to come under Title XIII of the Revised Statutes of the Territory of Arizona 1901, as provide in paragraph 926, Sec. 166, Chapter X of said Title XIII of said Revised Statutes.

The front of the check has two stamps, one with "No." and "F and M" visible and the other stamp reads "Paid Ju[..] 16 1902 Farmers & M[..] Nat'l Bank." The back of the check is stamped "Pay to the order of any bank or banker, Citizens Nat'l Bank Cameron, Texas, W. L. Baird, Cashier."
