Interview with William Edward "Bill" Dickey, a fiddle player from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Dickey's ancestors were some of the first Kerr County settlers. He talks about his family's history, including a feud between his relatives, the Hendersons, and the Hopes. He recounts the development of his music career as a left-handed fiddler.

Interview with Barbara Kiefer Schellhase and Walter Schellhase, a couple who retired in Kerrville, Texas. The couple discusses their individual family histories, their childhoods in Kerrville, their move away from the area, the lumberyard company they owned together in Louisiana, and their work on restoring the A. C. Schreiner family home during their retirement. The interview transcript includes photos of the couple and their family, as well as a letter, on pages 31-41.

Transcript of an interview with Charles (Charly) Seale, who served with the Department of Public Safety, Highway Patrol Service during the flood of July 17, 1987 near Comfort, Texas. The flood took the lives of ten children. Charles was in the the first responding helicopter involved in the rescue operation and recounts the events and search that followed. Photos of Charles follow the transcript.
