Parks speaks about his experiences as owner of the Hunt Store, his experiences as a member of the Hunt Preservation Society, and about his grandfathers (one of which was a Texas Special Ranger, the other of which was a cowboy on the Matador Ranch north of Abilene).

Interview with Lois Lorraine Green Shaw and Evelyn Mills Shields who have been friends for 49 years and live on the same street. Lois Shaw moved to Kerrville with her husband. She attended nursing school and worked in the operating room at Sid Peterson Hospital for many years, and later as a geriatrics administrator at a care facility. She is active in her church, St. Paul Methodist, and has served on many community boards. She and her husband Charles (deceased) had seven children. Evelyn Shields graduated from Doyle High School, she worked as therapist at Kerrville State Hospital for 33 years. She enjoys cooking and is active in her church, Mount Olive Baptist. Interview with Joel Jonce Craig, an alumnus of Tivy High School, from Ingram, Texas. Craig recalls his time playing in a western band at local dances during his teenage years, as well as his time in a pop band called the Bluenotes that he played with after serving time in the United States Army.

Interview with Gretchen Broun Stacy, the daughter of the owners of Camp Rio Vista, from Houston, Texas. Stacy gives a brief history of her life, including her time living in Houston before moving to Kerrville as a freshman in high school, setting up a cooking school at Camp Waldemar, and running a catering business.

Interview with Sylvia Ann Payne Lewis and Joe Herman Lewis, alumni of Doyle High School, from Kerrville, Texas. They speak about growing up in the black community of Kerrville during segregation.

Interview with Itasco Wilson, who worked as a teacher in Kerrville, Texas. The interview includes her stories of teaching with her husband, B.T. Wilson, and touring with their choir and football team, as well as her community activities.

Interview with Matias Rodriguez, a reverend from Kerrville, Texas, whose family has lived in the hill country of Texas for seven generations, since 1829. The interview includes Rodriguez's experiences as the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church and as a prisoner of war in World War II.
