Set of 11 wooden blocks, hand-painted, which make up the bodies of Tommy the soldier and his horse Dobbin. Contained in wooden box with sliding lid, lid with colored illustration of the blocks and title; underside of lid with colored illustration showing 5 different ways the blocks can be arranged to make Tommy & Dobbin in different poses. Affixed to inside bottom of case is a second colored illustration showing 6 more poses.

A group of 6 spoons from the 1893 Chicago "World's Columbian Exposition" world's fair. Silverplated souvenir teaspoons, each with scrolling forms on handle. Bowl of each spoon is engraved with a view of a different building from the exposition: U.S. Government Building; Horticultural Building; Mines and Mining Building; Machinery Hall; Transportation Building; Manufacturers & Liberal Arts [Building].

Bed Jacket

Bed jacket of black openwork. Hip length-jacket is formed of vertical panels of black braid open work net overlaid/appliquéd with black braid in scrolls and arabesques, the whole is lined/backed with black silk. The panels are constructed to create princess seamed segments for shape/fit. Elbow-length sleeves, V-neckline at front with two hook & eye closures on center front. Neckline and upper part of opening trimmed with off-white eyelet lace ruffle. Two black braided circular button-like applied elements at center front, one at either side of opening.

Bodice of black serge with dark green braided cord passementerie and jet bead applique. V-shaped neckline with black lace and ivory net dickey which closes on the right with 4 snaps. Ivory lace trim around collar and black lace around neckline and at cuffs. Long sleeves. Snaps on waistband for skirt (possibly not original to bodice and added at a later date). Center front closure of 4 hook & eyes snap at waistline; 4 non-functioning covered buttons trimmed with black bugle beads. Lined in brown fabric.

[Soldering iron]

Soldering iron with a copper plated head, four sided with a pyramid point, with an octagonal body of head. At the back of the head there is a long painted black iron neck that has been inserted into the head. The neck ends in a point. The wooden handle is removable and fits over the pointed end of the neck. It is a turned handle that split in half and been repaired with black electrical tape. There is also metal wire wrapped around the base of the handle where the split originated. Three nails are inserted up into the base of the handle around the hole for the neck.

The stock of the die is rectangular shaped with two long handles that come out opposite sides. One handle is part of the rectangle while the other screws on to tighten or loosen the five dies inside the stock. The rectangular part of the stock has a 10.5 cm X 2.7 cm rectangular opening into which the dies fit. On the dies are several engraved numbers. A 7 is marked at the top of all five dies and on the 1st,3rd,4th and 5th are marked 10, 12,14,16. Above the die is a stamp: BUTTERFIELD & CO DEP BY LINE, V1. ROCK ISLAND. P.a Below them is written: No 32 B.

Compass saw that has an upside down G-Shaped handle with two screwed where the blade inserts. The one further away from the blade is 2 cm in diameter and is stamped with H Disston & Sons Philada With a little emblem in the center. The other is 1.2 cm in diameter and is plain. The blade is most likely the original because it has been engraved with the same names.
