This view shows the reproduction in the nineteenth century of an ancient Greek sculpture by Boidas of a male youth, arms raised, palms upward, to the sky.

Paper bill representing one dollar ($1), printed by the Republic of Texas. There are engraved images of a Native American man holding a bow on the left side and a seated woman at the top. Text says "The Treasurer of the Republic of Texas Will pay One Dollar in [...] Notes in the Government when presented at the Treasury [...] act of Congress, Austin."

Waistcoat of beige floral printed cotton with shawl collar and gilt buttons. Welt pockets at sides. Backed in cotton muslin.

The south elevation of the theater is shown in this view. The corner sports a small elevated dome atop the tower.

The view is at a raking angle which highlights the sculptural effects of the baroque decoration on the facade. In the distance the figure atop the dome is visible as well.

The tower on the southeast corner of the theater is topped with a sculptural figure. Robust balustrades and other sculptural detail is visible in this view.

The piano sits upright and includes a fan pattern in the upper body and massive classical legs with scrolls.

The lid of the armonica is open and the glasses are visible. Large scroll feet on the front support the complex base.

The memorial building is viewed in the great distance.

A view of the Danube River is visible beneath the memorial temple on its massive foundation.

The exterior view of the facade is shown in a dramatic upward view and includes the massive stairs, columns and sculpted pediment.

This view shows the massive Doric columns and the expansive view into the countryside from inside the temple.

The interior of the memorial temple is shown with its many attendant sculptures, busts and portraits of notable Germans.

Sunbonnet of tan and blue braided straw. The hat has a wired brim and a grayish-white silk lining. It is trimmed in tan silk ribbon, and the bavolet, or back panel which shades the neck, is composed of brown, brick red, tan and blue striped cotton fabric. The ties are of brown silk taffeta and are attached to lower edge of brim with a herringbone stitch. The TFC thanks Rebecca Jumper Matheson for her research on this object.

Child's dress ensemble of tan cotton with green and red/orange floral print consisting of: A) Skirt. Full length; pleated. One-inch waistband of muslin. Right side slit pocket. Center back opening; closures missing. Bottom of inside hem lined in brown glazed cotton; balance of skirt unlined. B) Bodice. Fitted with wide neckline; dropped shoulders. Neckline is trimmed with double row of fluted fabric of self. Short, puffed sleeves with caps trimmed with fluted fabric of same. V-shaped pleats in front. Center back opening closes with 9 hook & eyes. Lined in muslin. C) Fichu. Triangular panels of decreasing size applied to look like pleats. Four-inch epaulets of same with self-covered buttons at ends. Seven self-covered buttons down center back seam with evidence of three missing buttons. Lined in brown glazed cotton.
