Skirt gradually turns from gray at top to dark pink at bottom and to purple on back. Back bodice has deep, V-shape. Fabric gathered at waist; center back zipper; open seam at back reveals underskirt of ombré fabric and two layers of dark pink silk chiffon. Strapless dress of metallic chartreuse green silk cord and velvet. Bodice of horizontal rows of silk cording has dropped waist. Short straight skirt of chartreuse velvet is embellished with 1/2" spaced horizontal silk cords. Center back zipper closure. Lining of purple silk crepe; bodice is boned with lilac grosgrain petersham. Designer's label at left of zipper: "Oscar de la Renta" "Made in U.S.A." tag at base of designer label. Union label, care label and size "6" tag at right on bottom of bodice.

Dress of brown velvet; brown sable fur around wide low neckline; brown silk sash attached around empire waistline with center front bow; full-length flared skirt; center back zipper; back princess seams; front princess seams extend to hips then angle downward toward side seams; no side seam below hips; long sleeves with vents and 3 working buttons; brown lining.

The white bowl shape is covered with patterned squares filled in with black and blue short hash marks. A sweeping blue transparent overlay shape hugs the side of the bowl as do two horizontally oriented black outlines.

The porcelain artwork consists of a cup shape seated on a base. The cup is covered with yellow, gray and black geometric decoration. The yellow sections are textured with linear striations while the gray areas include some squiggly marks that resemble cursive handwriting.

Half of the bowl is decorated in yellow while the other half consists of many closely spaced dark blue rectangular hash marks. On the yellow half of the bowl are many hieroglyphic type marks.

The vessel is a tall bowl shape covered with a grooved texture over which are some vertical light blue rectangles that pierce a light purple circle that is textured with curvy lines.
