Contrasting black velvet wired standing V-neck collar. Long tapered sleeves with functional four button closure at wrist. Covered buttons with loops. Lapped center front closure with two hook&eyes and four black chiffon covered snaps as the closure devices. Waist seam with asymmetrical draping over the right hip. Fully lined with black chiffon. Black velvet facing, and bound with black satin on bodice flap closing. Shoulder pads and black satin lining yoke. Waist stay of black grosgrain ribbon. With two extra buttons. Fitted bodice is constructed in layers of white net, black net, and silver lace with gold cord applique. Sarong style tubular skirt of gold and silver crinkle lamé. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Black chiffon lining in skirt; bodice is boned and lined in gray synthetic. Evening dress of black velvet and fuchsia satin. The dress has an empire-length bodice of black velvet, with a scoop neckline and long fitted sleeves which have hidden zipper closures. The Empire waistline is accented with a horizontal band of fuchsia satin with bow at center front. Extending down from the waistband is the full fuchsia satin skirt. The full-length skirt has vertical inverted pleats edged with bands of black velvet that extend from the waistband to just below the hips. At center back is a zipper closure. The bodice is lined in black silk, and has a black grosgrain ribbon inner waistband which secures with hook-and-eyes. The skirt has an inner slip lining of fuchsia fabric with a wide fuchsia satin hem matching the skirt. Designer label stitched into garment at right center-back, beside the zipper "Oscar de la Renta" with second label "Made in U.S.A." sewn below. Cocktail dress of black silk gazar. The halter-style neckline of the dress ends in straps at center back of the fitted, dropped-waist bodice. The skirt is a semi-full, gathered, mid-thigh length. There is a boned inner bodice of black silk tulle with bust pads, grosgrain bust and waist stays fastening with hooks-and-eyes, an elaborate closure involving halter drape and inner and outer zippers down the left sideseam and five snaps that secure the halter panel and disguise the zipper. Fully lined in black chiffon.

Lavender knit dress with blue suede belt.

Dress of salmon pink silk with large black polka dots on drapery. Strapless; full-length. Fitted to waist; slightly flared skirt gathers at waistline. Polka-dot fabric drapes around bust and fastens with snaps around left side. Polka-dot fabric drapes into bow-like shape with two hanging panels to floor and two looped and puffed panels make a bustle. Sheer pink lining. Center back zipper; built-in strapless bra.
