Hat of navy blue straw cloth. Veil and white flowers decorate upturned brim edged in navy grosgrain. Asymmetrical brim wider at front ends with almost no brim in back. Hatband of navy velvet ribbon forms bow at back left. Two hatpins with navy, cloth covered heads. Elastic band for securing hat to wearer's head. Unlined. Hat of brown felt. Hat has a high, cylindrical crown, slightly "crumpled", with an asymmetrical brown felt brim that extends out and curls upwards. Highest point of brim is at front of the hat. Round crown, above mid-point, is hatband of dark brown grosgrain ribbon embellished with branching forms of beading, sequins, and metal leaves. This band meets at back and has extending segments cut at angles hanging from the back of the hat. Dark brown grosgrain ribbon hatband inside crown, with thin elastic cord fastened on either side to act as chinstrap to secure hat to wearer's head. The crown of the hat is composed of two sections of felt with the band of grosgrain ribbon between them. From inside of hat the back of the ribbon and the stitching of the beading is visible. Sewn into the inner ribbon band is designer's label: "Hattie Carnegie / Inc / Original / Expressly for / Neiman-Marcus"

Hat of red shantung straw with wide sailor brim. Round, shallow crown trimmed in plaid taffeta ribbon. Under chin elastic.

Hatlet of green velvet. The low, domed crown is encircled by a wide band of pleated green velvet bands, a large green velvet bow, and five clusters of magenta velvet strawberries with green velvet leaves. The hat is lined in the same green velvet, and has two small faux tortoise shell combs inside to help secure to wearer's head. Designer's label: "Emme"

Bergère style, open-crown hat of finely woven black horsehair. Formed without a crown, the hat has a center headband of black velvet ribbon with large bow and trailing ribbons at back. From headband extends wide, floppy brim of fine black stiff mesh/net horsehair. A small plastic comb attached at front center of headband helps secure hat to wearer's head. Retailer's label: "Made to Order Hat / Bergdorf / Goodman"

Dress of ecru (off white) cotton crochet lace with button accents. Sleeveless with self "shawl" over shoulders and back. Four large black buttons below shoulders at front with navy velvet bound nonfunctional buttonholes.

Hatlet in open calotte style. Headpiece is wire frame covered in white velvet decorated in floral design of iridescent white sequins edged in silver bugle beads. White net.

Bergère style hat of black linen. Open crown created by a black band of self encircling what would be the base of the crown; bow at back. Wide asymmetric brim slightly "waved"; wired. Headband of black grosgrain. Manufacture's label on inside hatband: "Betmar" Union label on inside hatband: "823937" Retailer's stamp on inside hatband: "Weldon's Fort Worth"

Hat of violet felt trimmed with lighter colored edge stitching. Upturned brim on one side. Purple feathers decorate crown. Crown has folds. Designer's label: "Ko San / New York" Union label under designer's label.

Calotte style hat of black velvet covered with pearl beads and rhinestones. The circular domed hat has a narrow, up-turned brim and is completely covered with a latticework of oval faux pearl beads with rhinestones set at each intersection. At the top of the crown is an upstanding black velvet covered wire surmounted by a "mushroom cap" finial beaded in the same way as the rest of the hat. Headband of black grosgrain ribbon; lined in black netting. Measurements: 20 cm wide, front to back; 18 cm wide, side to side; 19 cm high from base of brim to tip of finial.

Low, teardrop shaped crown with flat top is slightly tilted to the front by a gathered stitch; wide gray grosgrain ribbon headband divides into three tiers of streamers cascading at back. Hat of green felt. Designed as a modified cloche, the had is formed of a deep, domed crown of green felt with a rolled edge at back that extends to become a high, curved brim in front. The front extension is crowned by a feathered ornament formed as a stylized bird looking downwards. The "bird" has tan and dark feathers for the tail, green feathers for neck and breast, and a black plastic(?) beak. Around the base of the crown is a band of dark gray/bronze colored net trimmed with chenille dots, which extends at front and sides to become a veil. Around inside of crown is dark brown/black grosgrain ribbon band. Sewn to inner ribbon band is maker's label: "Hattie Carnegie / Inc / Custom Made" Measurements: 27 cm. front to back; 23 cm. side to side; 12 cm. from base of brim to highest point, not counting feathers.

Knee-length. princess-line. white cotton. camisole slip. Shaped neckline with eyelet trim and eyelet shoulder straps. The shoulder straps' eyelet is stitched over white cotton twill tape. Princess-line six panel shell with turned hem. There is a 4" wide flounce of eyelet lace applied 4" above the hemline. The initials "B.H." are written in brown ink inside the back neckline. below the right shoulder strap. The slip is homemade and appears to be a petticoat from 1910-1915 that has been altered and remade.

Fitted bodice with moderate square neckline, trimmed with a flat collar consisting of gathered ivory lace with three bands of twill ribbon insertion and stylized floral lace rosettes, Short puffed sleeves trimmed to match the collar, bodice gathers slightly center front into the raised waist seam, detailed waist seam positioned slightly above the natural waistline, flared. ten panel below-the-knee skirt with turned hem and two patch pockets placed over the front hipline, trimmed with gathered ivory lace, zipper closure in left side seam from bust to hip level; No label, Appears to be homemade.

Dress of silver gray and gold silk and gold beads; empire waist; sleeveless; rounded V-neckline which dips low in back; snap closure on left side; bodice is silver gray with gold beads in floral motif; skirt is gold with a gold and silver belt that angles down in front; skirt has the appearance of two tiers made by folding the skirt up under itself around the knees.

Suit of navy blue wool twill and navy blue and white houndstooth check. A) Jacket has fronts of the check and everything else is of the navy blue. V-neck with pointed collar applied, single breasted closing with 5 self covered buttons and bound buttonholes, neckline and front trimmed with a piping of red wool, princess seams, long sleeves with pointed turn-back cuffs, fully lined. Designer label: Curry's / Chicago B) Skirt straight-line, side zipper, kick pleat at back hem.

A) Dress in red and green plaid; strapless; boning in CF and side seams only; waist seam; skirt pleats at CF, CB, and side seams; one large round patch pocket on front right side of skirt that gathers into a band at the lip of pocket; the skirt is full and cut on the bias with a red lining underlayer; the bodice is cut on the straight grain and has a gathered panel over the bust and a pleated band just under and along the side of the bust; CB zipper; B) matching belt; C) matching wrap with wool yarn fringe on the ends.
