Dinner dress of floral print embossed seersucker with puffed, raglan short sleeves. High waist. V-shaped, lightly draped neckline is trimmed at center front with bouquet of silk flowers and streamers of black velvet ribbon. Shoulders are trimmed/supported with two narrow black velvet ribbons. Slight train. Center back closure of self-covered buttons and loops. Slip/underdress of pale yellow acetate.

Afternoon dress of printed pink rayon shantung with white/brown floral print. Sleeveless with wide V-shaped neckline and divided cape collar. Picot edges on collar and hem. Street length with long line torso and uneven bias cut flounce starting at left hip and dipping down. No closure.

Coat of navy blue wool. Ruffled, quilted shawl collar attached to front panel; rolled button of matching material under collar closes with frog at right side neckline. Slightly flared silhouette; 3/4 sleeves that turn up at the ends. Blue satin lining with ties that close with loop on left side opening. Retailer's label: "Volk's / Dallas" NRA label

Long dinner gown of black wool; trimmed with black satin shawl collar, finely pleated, crossed in front surplice style extending just over hips; straight silhouette in front; bias cut back; slightly padded shoulders; uneven hemline in front where squared piece cut out in front of feet; With V shaped fluted white satin dickie in front, high neck band, which is listed on individual record.

Day hat with navy wool felt crown and pleated creme wool brim. Underside of brim trimmed in navy covered wire with wired bow at front on upturned brim. Hatpin with black felt covered head. Retailer's label on inside hatband: "Made to Order Hat / Bergdorf / Goodman / Fifth Ave. at 58th St."

Hat of wheat colored straw with small brim turned up in back. Crown creased across top. Grosgrain pear green colored ribbon trims crown and forms bow in back. Lacquered canary used at trim. Elastic band for securing hat to wearer's head. Unlined.

Hat of royal blue velour. The crown is somewhat domed, of pieced velour, with a band of rolled dark blue satin around the base. The wide brim of matching velour is shaped to dip down and turn up slightly around the crown. The hat is unlined, with a band of dark blue grosgrain ribbon sewn in between the inner edge of the crown and the brim. Designer's label sewn inside: "Rose Descat / Paris", with a second label sewn to lower edge of designer's: "Made In France".

Turban-style hat created of henna colored silk rope wound around and stitched to form the hat. Net backing/lining. At back of hat is an oval spiral of same material, from which extends a spray of cinnamon bird of paradise feathers to the front. Label sewn inside: "John Frederics Inc / New York" Measurements: 24 cm. front to back; 19 cm. side to side; 13 cm. from top of crown to lowest point of brim.
