The late nineteenth century telephone has an open body revealing the bells underneath. The body is black and decorated with some gold designs. There is a rotary handle and two uprights to cradle the earpiece.

Bed jacket of black openwork. Hip length-jacket is formed of vertical panels of black braid open work net overlaid/appliquéd with black braid in scrolls and arabesques, the whole is lined/backed with black silk. The panels are constructed to create princess seamed segments for shape/fit. Elbow-length sleeves, V-neckline at front with two hook & eye closures on center front. Neckline and upper part of opening trimmed with off-white eyelet lace ruffle. Two black braided circular button-like applied elements at center front, one at either side of opening.

Bodice of black serge with dark green braided cord passementerie and jet bead applique. V-shaped neckline with black lace and ivory net dickey which closes on the right with 4 snaps. Ivory lace trim around collar and black lace around neckline and at cuffs. Long sleeves. Snaps on waistband for skirt (possibly not original to bodice and added at a later date). Center front closure of 4 hook & eyes snap at waistline; 4 non-functioning covered buttons trimmed with black bugle beads. Lined in brown fabric.

The facade of the railway station building is mostly visible behind a few trees. The building's style is a compilation of styles from Britain and India.

Capelet of black silk satin. The short cape is trimmed along hem with 3-1/2" band of pleated organza and band of jet beads. Standing neckline trimmed in pleated organza. Center front opening with closure of five hook & eyes, with bow of black silk satin moire with trailing ends attached to right side of opening at throat. Shoulder yoke bordered in tightly gathered narrow band of black organza. Bright purple moire silk lining.

Day/house hat of creme silk. Wide, wired brimmed hat with gold stitching throughout. Wide, low crown with ruffled brim. Pink flowers under and above brim. Large bow of self at back. Measurements: Front to back: ca. 29 cm. without "frill' Side to side: ca. 32 cm. without "frill" Height: ca. 9 cm. as worn, without "frill".

Connecticut Society of the Sons of the American Revolution commemorative medal shaped like a cross with the image of a solder in the middle.

Wedding ensemble of ivory voile with silk embroidered "bermuda grass" plant motif. A) Fitted bodice. Rounded neckline with lace collar. Long sleeves are fitted with lace cuffs matching collar. Center front hook & eye closure. Lined in ivory silk; boned. B) Skirt. Full length. Center back hook & eye closure on 1" waistband. Lined in matching voile. C) Sash of ivory moire silk ribbon; 2" wide.

Small card holder/coin purse of insect and honeycombed embossed brown leather; snap closure. Small bronze frog inside purse, used to be part of interior closure. Ivory or bone weight on inside flap. Measurements: 10 cm x 6 cm.

Gold maroon and ivory striped silk ensemble. Three bodices and skirt. A, B, C: Bodices; D: Skirt. Original daytime (high necked long sleeved) top and evening off shoulder décolletage top of 1860's style with lower neckline, lace collar and chiffon sleeves. Mourning dress of black silk and lace in aesthetic style. Yoke has triangular shaped overlay of black lace trimmed with double rows of black silk ribbon and black lace ruffles on front and back. Attached gathered sash snaps at center back and has trailing, knotted end. Demi-gigot sleeves with lace overlay from wrist to elbow. Watteau back; slightly trained. Closes at center front with three hidden buttons and five hooks & eyes on yoke; partially attached lining of gray cotton that closes with twenty-three buttons down center front. Reinforced hem.

Headscarf.

Picture hat of light pink silk taffeta and feathers. The domed crown is totally covered by sprays of off-white ostrich feathers and pale pink veiling. At one side is a metal buckle with rhinestones. The wide brim is wired at outer edge and covered with the same silk. The whole is swathed in veiling which also hangs down to secure below face of wearer. Crown of hat is lined in off-white silk, the brim is lined with the same pink silk.

Child's sunbonnet of white cotton. Cotton streamer ties. Channel stitching and eyelet lace ruffle on stiffened visor/brim.

Flat brown bonnet with embroidered light green lace with gold, rose, olive green, light pink design and trimmed with ochre silk and a silk gold bow garnished with flowers.

Sunbonnet of brown linen with pasteboard staves, crenelated buttoning crown and long tail; crown and tail are separate pieces, sewn together at neck seam; tail fastens to side of brim through 3 off-white buttons on each side; shape of tail is semi-circular; chin ties are narrow hemmed by hand; fabric is a plain weave with both white and brown threads. Measurements: 56 cm. from lowest point of tail to top of crown when laid flat; Brim is 20 cm. deep from outer edge to inner edge.

Child's sunbonnet of white cotton with eyelet brim, ruffles, apron. Rolled cording embellishment. Ties of self.

Afternoon dress ensemble of navy jacquard with green and cream floral print. Consists of: A) Bodice with lace embelishments as if yoke but beneath faux vest of chartreuse green; geometric pleating in front; black velvet and chartreuse accent at collar; hook and eye closures at center front; remnants of ruffled trim on cuffs. B) Skirt; pleating in center; navy ruffle trim
