Hat of light beige fur felt.

Hatlet of black plastic tubing.

Pair of brown suede boots. Almost knee-high, the boots are constructed as slip-on rounded-toe shoes or moccasins with added segments on the quarter to create the length of the boots. At the top, the suede of the boots is folded over outwards forming a pocket for a drawstring around top and a band of suede fringe around the outside of the boot. Indistinct trademark/logo stamped on sole. Illegible stamped mark inside boots. Referred to as "Squaw Boots", these were worn by the donor who acquired them in 1968 from the Fishing Bridge Store, in Yellowstone National Park.

Double-breasted with six plastic, black circular buttons at front in two rows of three and three bound buttonholes; large covered snap on inside neckline. Princess seaming. Each sleeve with a line of six buttons at cuff and bound buttonholes. Fully lined in burgundy fabric. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norell" B) Skirt of same heavy burgundy wool with slight gathers into waistband. Above the knee length; A-line. Slit pocket on each side. Left side zipper closure hidden within pocket and concealed by three hook-and-eyes at top of pocket and four hook-and-eyes in waistband. Lined in burgundy fabric. Ensemble. A) Coat of cream and taupe/brown herringbone wool. 3/4 length with deep fold-down, rounded collar. Four patch pockets with button flaps (2 at chest level and 2 at hip level). Double-breasted with 10 round-top taupe buttons and bound buttonholes. Long set-in sleeves with 5 button closing down sleeve ends. Lined in taupe silk. Long, fitted sleeves with zippers at sleeve ends. Stand-up, mandarin style collar. Zipper closure at center back.

Coat of tiger fur with sable (fox?) fur trim. Mid-length. Long sleeves with 4" sable cuffs. Shawl collar of sable extends down center front opening to 10" border around hemline. Fully lined in brown silk; embroidered initials "DMM" at right side opening. Lining has 11" pleated brown silk "skirt" with brown velvet seam. Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Bergdorf / Goodman / On the Plaza / New York" Retailer's label beneath main retailer's label (part handwritten): "Bergdorf / Goodman / On the Plaza * New York / M. Dress of black wool crepe. A-line shaped with mock. Flap pockets and cuffed long straight sleeves. Round neckline. Center front of skirt. Pockets and cuffs are trimmed in black grosgrain. Two box pleats are inserted in back of skirt and the zipper is at center back. b) Belt of same material trimmed in grosgrain.

A) Sheath style dress of navy blue wool jersey. Choir boy collar with long pointed ends and three 1" buttons at center front. Below knee length; long length sleeves gathered into 3" wide cuffs with three 1" buttons matching collar and bound buttonholes. Center back zipper with three hook & eyes on back of collar. Lined with navy blue fabric. Designer's label on left side of zipper: "Geoffrey Beene" B) Tie belt of same fabric; 1" wide.

A) Dress of off-white organdy with orange and white embroidery and appliques. Orange and white circles are appliquéd and orange flowers with pearl detail is embroidered. Jewel neckline, sheer neck and upper back, sleeveless with squared armholes, dress lined in white from bustline to hem, full length gathered skirt at high waist. CB zip closure with hook and eye at neck. Bodice lined in white satin and skirt lined in yellow. 26" waist. Designer's label at inside back: "Elinor Simmons / For / Malcolm Starr" Origin label below: "Made in the British / Crown Colony of Hong Kong" Size label: "6" (B) Ribbon belt of braided grosgrain orange ribbon and grosgrain white ribbon, knotted at each end.

Dress of pale green silk shantung, round neckline, embroidery of gold thread, faux pearls and mother of pearl medallions at neck and sleeve ends, long set-in sleeves, CB zipper, lined in lightweight silk. No labels.

Top of pink leather. Reversed vest-style top, sleeveless, with jewel neckline; Center back opening with 5 pink 3/4" buttons and bound buttonholes; bottom of armhole is square; lined with light pink silk; french darts at front; 1 1/4" side slits; just below waist length. Designer's label (brass plaque with engraved black script) sewn in at inside back: "Roger Van S." Retailer's label at inside back: "Neiman-Marcus / Trophy Room".

Ensemble consisting of light brown wool tunic and skirt. a) Wool tunic. Oatmeal colored. Mid thigh length. 7 plastic buttons down the front to just past the waist. Belt attached by pieces of thread, with two matching buttons spaced two inches apart. Long sleeve. Matching buttons on each sleeve. Neiman Marcus label at center neckline. b) Matching wool skirt. Knee length. Neiman Marcus tag attached at top. Zipper located at left side. Designer label at lower right seam: Geoffrey Beene

A) Day dress of mustard yellow heavy knit. Three-seamed raglan short-sleeves. Knee length. Modified mandarin neckline. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Patch pockets at sides. Lined in matching mustard yellow silk satin. Combined designer/retailer label on inside left seam under lining: "Norman Norell for Bonwit Teller" B) Belt of self with 6 rows of quilted top stitching. 1-1/4 inches wide. Rectangular slide buckle covered in self. Attached at back of dress.

Coat dress of brown velvet with silver embroidery. Mid-length. Long sleeves. Rounded neckline. Center front opening with zipper and covered snaps which extends from throat to hips. Neckline, cuffs, hem, and line of cf opening to hem all with heavy rolled hems. The whole coat is covered with silver embroidery in floral and foliate patterns. Lined in brown cotton(?). No labels.
