Child’s "Flower Girl" dress made from pieces of Irish lace. Knee-length, the dress has a round neckline and short sleeves which are slit along the lower 7 1/2" of length. The lower part is slightly A-line with scalloped lower edge, and has one horizontal section mid-way between waist and hem made to have a ribbon threaded through. The center back opening has a 7 1/2" slit at neckline, and a single snap closure.

A vertical structure with a figurative top supports an arched and strung piece of wood.

Crocheted cap of brown cotton yarn styled as a pillbox. The hemispherical crown is flat at top and slopes to base. The hat has no brim and is unlined. Stuck through the sides of the crown are two brass hatpins formed as over-sized hairpins.

Cloche hat of lace and velvet. The deep, domed crown is of peach satin (?) overlaid with a silver metallic lace. At the front of the crown are applied leaf shapes of dark pink velvet that form a fan-motif. The lowest leaves on each side extend to become a shallow brim for the hat, also formed of the dark pink velvet. The leaves and the brim are quilted with metallic silver stitching. Ladies' handkerchief. Square of off-white fabric. Printed outer border of peach, with inner scalloped line of brown. Each corner with large printed floral (rose?) design in peach, brown, white, and blue/green. No labels or tags. Approx. 12" square.

Evening dress in straight style of black silk satin and silk lace. Sleeveless, with gold embroidery in leaf motif at scooped neckline, down center front, and above three lace panels set at center front and sides. Attached gold belt at dropped waist with black satin back.

Girl's dress of sheer white batiste. A-line with dropped waist of five tiered ruffles with picot hemstitching. Bound rounded neckline and sleeveless armholes. Neckline trimmed in graduated embroidered tucked lines.

Pouch purse of ivory cotton with red trim at top and bottom and red piping at seams. Covered in floral embroidery. Rectangular shape. Envelope style miniature clutch of silver, brass, brown, green and red metallic microbeads in floral and bow pattern. Triangular flap closure with loop and mother-of-pearl, round button clasp. Nightgown of ivory satin and beige floral lace. Full-length, full at hem. Medium-deep squared neckline at front, deep V neckline at back, edged with floral lace. Short sleeves with lace insets and narrow lace cuffs. Empire waist with inset diamond-shaped panel of lace at center front. Center back opening with 6 hidden snaps. No labels in garment.

Shoes of red and brown leather; silver embroidery covering shoe uppers; back of shoe has a point; toes curl and come to a point

Pair of girl's high top white leather sandals styled as boots. Designed with rounded toe, the shoes have six straps from vamp to above ankle that cross from inner side to outer side, and fasten with small simulated (?) mother of pearl buttons. Stacked heel of very low height, almost a flat heel. Stamped inside the shoe: "3C 243".

Hat of black felt. The hat, for day wear, has a domed black felt crown. On either side of the crown is a large black velvet bow with trailing ribbons. The black felt brim is set off-center, providing for more brim at front of hat and less at back. The front of the brim curves up, and is faced in black velvet. The front half of the hat has a black veil with scattered "dots" in the netting. The hat is unlined, with an inner hatband of black grosgrain ribbon around the inside lower edge of the crown. A small stitched star on the inner hatband indicates the front of the hat. Designer's label sewn to inner hatband: "Hattie Carnegie / Inc / Custom Made".
