The UNT Butterfly Flower Patch Commemorative Poster
This is a commemorative poster designed for the establishment of the UNT Butterfly Flower Patch on March 25th, 2023. This new butterfly garden, supported by the We Mean Green Fund, is the latest garden in the pollinative patches, a series of pollinator gardens around Library Mall. Initially proposed in the Spring of 2022, CLASS undergraduate student Logan Dovalina established the UNT Butterfly Flower Patch using initial funds from UNT Bee Campus Committee to establish a butterfly garden located adjacent to Willis Library. With a We Mean Green Fund proposal, he secured funding for fully establishing the garden this year as well as every academic semester until Fall 2027. Ultimately, this butterfly garden serves as part of the greater UNT Pollinative Patches, which are pollinator-dedicated spaces located throughout campus.
