The resulting race winners are Carrie Orme, Seneca, and Brookfield. The postcard carries a message from December 2, 1915. Walter H. Horne announces his gallery is now open and looks after the well-being of his family up in Maine. The postcard is directed to his mother and his older brother Edward. The postdate is the following day December 3, 1915 at 5 p.m.
