[Denison Dam Proposal]

Postcard image of proposal of Denison Dam as what it would look like when completed. Text on front reads "Red River Dam as it will appear when completed". The text on the back reads "Now under construction at a cost of more than $50,000,000, the huge earthen dam between Denison, Texas, and Durant, Oklahoma, will look like this from south when completed. Length of main dam 14,000 feet; dike extension 7,800 feet; maximum height 165 feet. Reservoir will inundate 127,600 acres in Texas and Oklahoma.".

Length of main dam, 21,100 fee, maximum height 165 feet. Reservoir will inundate 146,000 acres in Texas and Oklahoma. Shoreline, approximately 1250 miles.".
