The print on the back top left side reads: "Midland County Court House Midland, Texas. Midland is located halfway between Fort Worth and El Paso on U.S. 80 Highway (the Broadway of America) and served by the Texas and Pacific Railway. The City's name derives from the midway location. Established in 1885, Midland has been almost from the very beginning one of West Texas' leading and most progressive communities. Color photo by F. J. Schaaf."
