The front of the postcard features a photograph of a small stone building with an American flag on a pole directly to the left of it, and a large sign on the roof that reads, "Cascade Caverns." The building has another section on the back left side, with a door and a window. The building is surrounded on the backside by trees.

Postcard from Mrs. Davis to her daughter, Sandy Davis, writing to say Sandy's father brought back fish like the one on the front of the postcard from his trip, and that they will be attending an aunt's funeral in town. The front of the postcard features an altered, novelty photograph of a large fish on a flat bed truck. The truck is parked in the driveway in front of a tall, wood-sided building (partially visible to the left). The bottom of the front of the postcard reads, "Had a hard time landing this one!"

The back of the postcard is addressed to Miss Sandy Davis, with "Guess Who?" written in as the sender. Instead of a message, there is a large scribble in red ink.

Postcard from Sally to Miss Sandy Davis, writing to let her know that "the boys" are home and asking when Miss Davis is coming home. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a young woman standing in the middle of a cavern with high ceilings, and many stalactites and stalagmites. The young woman is standing between two tall rock formations, leaning with her right elbow against one of them. The cave extends further back, but the rest of it is hidden by rock formations.

Card with letter from Ray Freed to Isaac Herbert Kempner mentioning about the special meeting of the board of directors of the Galveston county Jewish Welfare association on January 12th. She also adds that this is an important meeting so requests him to attend.

Card with letter from Charles B. White & Company to Isaac Herbert Kempner mentioning the following: General Crude Oil Company Common Stock Currently Trading 45 bid - 47 asked.

Card with letter from F. L. Diaggne to Harris Leon Kempner notifying him that he has to appear for special Jury Service on May 14, 1956. And Diaggne mentions that if he's an exempt he has to claim but no person other than Judge has the authority to excuse him from this jury service. And failure to obey this will cost him between $10 to $100.

Card with letter from the Rosenberg Library to Harris Leon Kempner thanking him for his request that they buy books in memory of Mrs. J. C. Nellegar. He mentions that they're going to place a suitable memorial bookplate indicating him as the donor.

Color halftone postcard showing the Fly 'N Fish motel and airport on Caddo Lake, near Marshall, Texas. Two small planes are parked on the runway in front of the motel.
