Postcard with the image of Courthouse Square in Georgetown, Texas. The Williamson County Courthouse is shown surrounded by parked 1920's style automobiles and people. A brass band plays their instruments from the bed of a truck. Buildings can be seen through the trees to the right of the courthouse on 7th street and rows of businesses on the left on 8th street. Buildings are on the south side of the square. Image is taken looking at 8th street from Main St. towards S. Austin St. The building on the left is identified as the Lesesne-Stone Building (1884) and the last building on the left with the pitched roof as the Steele Store/Makemson Hotel (ca. 1970-1911).

Postcard image of the north (7th Street) and east (Main Street) sides of Courthouse Square in Georgetown, Texas with the Williamson County Courthouse in the center. Buildings are visible along each of the streets around the square, with a large number of vehicles parked on either side of the streets. There appears to be a parade around the square, with a number of persons on horseback riding up 7th Street on the left, a brass band riding in an open truck in the center, and additional persons on horseback (one of whom is carrying a flag) riding along Main Street in the right side of the image.

Marshall Hotel, Marshall, Texas, 2751-29-N

Color halftone postcard of the Marshall Hotel, Marshall, Texas, which was built in 1929. The view shows the facade and east side of the eight story building and parts of the smaller buildings on either side of it. There is a sidewalk canopy across the facade with 2nd floor balcony on top of it, smaller three-bay balconies at the third and seventh floors and what appears to be a terrace surrounding the eighth floor. There are people standing on the sidewalk in front of the building and one automobile parked on the street. Printed in black ink above the image: "Marshall Hotel, Marshall, Texas." Printed in the lower right corner below the image: "2751-29-N" There is no postmark on the back of the card, but there is a handwritten message: "Our room is on the third floor. Please save this card for my album - Jean." Printed between the message and address sections: "Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C.T. American Art' post card (Reg. U. S. Pat. Off.}"
