[Postcard of a Fire Station, Spokane, Washington]
Postcard of a fire department at their station, lined up with five horse-drawn vehicles outside their respective garage doors. To the right of the rightmost wagon, there is a sixth door that says, "Police." On the back of the postcard, the sender has left a handwritten message that says, "An account of the stupendous amount of work in my department at present. I am unable to make up my list of correspondents. For this you can permit me to decline your offer."

Postcard of a two story house on North Yakima Ave., Tacoma, Wash. The note below the picture reads, "My dear Mamie May 28-1907. I wish you were here to spend the day with me in the park tomorrow - we are going to have a picnic. It's only a block from me. I will make some sketches and think of my Beaumont girls. Write to me.
