Early street scenes of Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas. The streets are all dirt roads and the picture was shot in the street, and looks down through the town. Many buildings can be seen in the distance, and power lines run down the road into town. Caption on the image reads "Colorado, Texas Newsom Photo 27."

[Oil Field in Colorado Texas]

Postcard of an oil field on a plain with lots of brush with numerous derricks visible across the plain and oil drums are visible next to the derricks. The Caption on the image reads "Oil Field. Colorado, Tex. 40 Newsom Photo." The handwriting on the back reads "This was taken right just north of Westbrook [illegible] more that you [ilegible].

[West Texas Refinery}

Postcard of an oil refinery in west Texas there are train tracks in front of the refinery one with nothing on it in the front and the other one with five rail tank cars stopped in front of the refinery. The writing on the photo reads: "West Texas Refinery. Newsom Photo. Colorado, Tex. 41." The hand writing on the back reads of the post card: "1922 - Colorado City W. J. Classen Tex. We use the West Texas all the time & it's really good."
