Postcard with an image of a tall downtown building with a large outside staircase; at the bottom of the building there is a large number of people crowding the street. The note on the back of the photo says "Chief Rush's funeral leaving his home April 28, 1912."

Postcard from Frank L. Lynch to George Pendexter reminding Pendexter that he has not forgot about him. Lynch mentions that the vehicle in the photograph is truck number 1 riding through a parade in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The buildings on the side of the street are decorated in patriotic flags and even the vehicles in the parade have American flag decorations.

Postcard from W. B. Johnston to George Pendexter describing a recent fire that took place catching multiple buildings on fire and causing around $45,000 in damage. The photograph on the reverse side shows the Battle Creek Fire Department riding through the street during the July 4, 1912 parade. The carriage in the center of the picture is holding a number of ladders on the back end; there are four firemen standing on the carriage as it rolls down the street. A lot of the people in the crowd are holding umbrellas to protect from the sunshine.

The photograph shows the truck rolling down a street in Colorado Springs during a parade and decorated with streamers and flags; also there are around ten firemen standing or sitting on the truck as it travels down the street.

Postcard from L. H. Woods to George Pendexter regarding the parade in the photograph; according to Woods this is the Fiesta Parade on May 10, 1907. The local fire department and their decorated floats are passing through the parade in this picture; their floats appear to be fake burning buildings being pulled by two horses draped in decorative blankets.
