One of the babies is asleep next to the sack, and another has fallen head first into the trunk. It reads: "All through the year kind wishes I've safely stored away, For Santa Claus to bring to you on Christmas Day." The note on the back reads "We hope that Old Santa is good to you."

They wear heavy winter clothing, and the ground is covered in snow. There are houses, fences, and bare trees in the background. It reads: "Christmas Greetings. A postcard from her grandmother to Johnie Louise Bruyere on December 22, 1928. The front has a drawing of a window seat, with a Christmas wreath and stocking hung on the window. It is snowing outside. The front reads: "Happy, Happy/all day through/Merry Christmas!" The note on the back reads: "This is wishing you and each one of Merry X-mas and a happy new-year loveingly [sic] Grand Ma Ma."

A postcard from Louisa Messimer to Johnie Louise Bruyere on December 22, 1928. The front of the card has a drawing of a holly branch with red berries and two red birds sitting on it. It reads: "Christmas Wishes. Never was Christmas Day more glad/Than the one I wish for you;/Never were wishes more sincere/From a heart more fond and true." The note on the other side reads "Dear sweetie, I hope old Santa's good to you this year and - hoping you a happy X Mas."

Loraine Buie."

Postcard of Frederick Charles Olds' residence on Austin Avenue, Waco. The house here is a two-storied house with a large portico set on stone pillars and balconies on both floors extending in both directions for the house's front facade. A covered driveway juts out from the house's side at left, with a paved pathway leading up to the side of the house.

Postcard addressed to Katharine Bahl, "Mrs. J. P. Bahl", of Waco, Texas, from Harry Bahl in San Antonio. Harry states he is having a "good time" and anticipates he will be home soon. The front of the post card depicts a large pagoda at the Japanese Tea Garden in San Antonio. At left, people walk past footpaths lined with ferns onto stairs that lead to the leftmost wing of the pagoda. Along the bottom of the picture is a lower section of the park, below the pagoda, which contains more pathways, stone walls holding garden planters, and an arched stone bridge over a calm pond lined with bushes and flowers.

Postcard sent to W. G. Lobb in Atwood, Illinois containing greetings and well wishes. The front of the postcard features an image of soldiers gathered around a boiling pot with plates and cups in Camp MacArthur in Waco, Texas.
