Certificate awarded to Victor Lauderdale from the Army of the United States in January of 1919 for official promotion to the rank of corporal. The certificate text is printed and filled in under a banner for the United States Army with the eagle seal of the United States.

[Battle of Ciudad Juárez, 1911 #1]
Postcard image of people examining an adobe building that was damaged by cannons and bullets during the Battle of Ciudad Juarez. The image was taken from one corner of the building and there are groups of people wearing formal clothing and hats standing along both visible sides, including several looking into the interior from atop rubble where the corner of the building is missing. Handwritten note on the back: "El Paso Texas Jan 18/1913 We saw this building. It is in Juarez, Mexico & was damaged during the war there last July 1912. The town was captured by the Mexican troops. It had been in the hands of the revolutionist for two years."

A. C. Jones Home
Postcard of the two-story Baroque architecture styled home of Mrs A. C. Jones located at 611 East Jones St. Philanthropist and supporter of local schools, Mrs. A.C. (Jane Field) Jones (1842-1918) built the house on this site after her husband Captain Jones’ death in 1906. Governors and other Texas leaders were welcomed here. Located on the hill where the college stands today, the first and much grander A.C. Jones home was sold to the John Flournoy and moved into town by mule and wagon. It stood facing Flournoy Park until it was razed in 1946.

A 1913 postcard with an image of a two-story, brick building labeled "First National Bank Building, Beeville, Texas."
