The depot is prominent on the left side of the postcard with a sign that reads "To San Francisco 562 7/10 M., B[ea]umont, [Elevation 2556 Feet, To New Orleans 1925 4/10 M" showing the mileage from Beaumont, California, to other prominent cities. There is also a sign on the right side of the building that reads, "...Express." In the far background are mountains. Written on the bottom of the postcard is "S.P. Depot Beaumont." It should be noted that Beaumont, California, and Beaumont, Texas, are sometimes mistaken for one another.
