One of the young women stands at the bottom of the spring house and is holding up what appears to be a long-handled dipper, while the other woman is seated on the top of the spring house and is reaching down toward the dipper. The spring house is a brick, stone, and possibly concrete structure with arches at the bottom where the water comes out. It is located in a depression in a wooded area. Printed on the border to the right of the image is the title, "Scene at Hynson's Springs, six miles west of Marshall, Texas." The postmark on the back of the card is dated Aug 31, 1910, and the card is addressed to Mrs. Charles Keller, Buffalo, N.Y."

Color tinted halftone postcard showing the Harrison County courthouse in Marshall, Texas. The Confederate monument stands in front of the courthouse and a tree is on either side of the courthouse. Printed in red in the upper left portion of the image is the number 8390 and the title "Court House, Marshall, Texas." The sender wrote part of her message across the top of the image. Printed along the left edge of the message space on the back is: "Mathewson Drug Co., Publishers, Marshall, Texas." The card is postmarked Marshall, Tex., July 26, 1910, and addressed to Leila Ferrell in Dallas, Texas.

Black and white halftone postcard of the First United Methodist Church, located at 300 East Houston St., in Marshall, Texas, photographed around 1909. The building was constructed in 1861. It is a front gable brick masonry structure in a Greek revival style with a bell tower and steeple on top of the front gable. The entrance porch has four tapered square brick columns surmounted by a pediment. The view shows the facade and the east side of the building with stained glass windows in the east wall and its raised basement windows visible. There is a two-story house with double gallery to the left of the church behind two trees. At the bottom of the image, printed in black is the title, "First M. E. Church, South, Marshall, Texas." There is a postmark dated March 16, 1910 on the back. The card was addressed to Mrs. Walter U. Buttrell, Longview, Texas.
