Color tinted halftone postcard from around 1911 showing St. Mary's Academy, Marshall, Texas. The view shows a side entrance facing the street and part of the main entrance on the left. It is a three-story brick building on a raised basement of stone. Printed on the top of the image in black is the title, "St. Marie's [sic] Academy, Marshall, Texas." The postmark on the back of the card is dated Dec. 21, 1911, and the card is addressed to Mrs. Ida Swartz in Reading, Pa. Printed on the left edge of the message section of the back: "Published exclusively for Duke & Ayres Nickel Stores. Made in U. S. A." Holy Cross nuns founded St. Mary's Academy in Marshall in 1880. It continued until 1957. This building was constructed in 1911.

Color halftone postcard showing the Noonday Tabernacle. located four miles north of Hallsville, Texas. The view shows an open air pavilion with a large hipped roof, supported by posts with trusses around the outer edge. Wood benches can be seen within the space. Trees surround it, and the bottom sections of their trunks are painted white to make them more visible to drivers at night. A dirt road curves toward the tabernacle and part of a parked car can be seen on the right. According to the caption the Noonday Holiness Camp was organized October 15, 1898 and located four miles north of Hallsville, Texas on Farm to Market Road #450, with camp meetings held annually in August, and with twelve camp houses offered free to campers. There is no postmark or message on the back of the card. Printed at the bottom of the message section is the code 32863-C. Printed between the message and address sections: "Dist. by Mrs. Tom Belch, 1107 E. Timpson St., Longview, Texas 75601. Made by Dexter Press, Inc., West Nyack, New York."
