[Four Men with Duck Carcasses]

Copy negative of four men standing in a row after a duck hunt. They are in front of a house belonging to Hans J. Rasmussen. The house has one visible window and horizontal siding. The men on the leftmost and rightmost part of the image, Thurston Clinkscales and Robert "Speck" Rasmussen, respectively, each hold one end of a string where several duck carcasses have been hung by their necks. Behind these ducks, Victor Recane (left) and Clarence Rasmussen (right) stand holding narrow rifle guns. They clasp their hands in front of them and smile at the camera. They all wear hats and are dressed in casual apparel.

Berndt Family Home

Photograph of a two-story home in Danevang, Texas, belonging to the Berndt family. Accompanying information states it was first owned by Hans Berndt, and later, by Christian Berndt, his son. The house has intersecting gable roofs and several double-hung windows on both floors. The front patio overhang is created by a roof projection that slopes downwards and is supported on the front by four slender columns. There are three visible trees in the foreground and a gas tank off to the right.
