The baby, shown here in the arms of Trooper Paul McCowan, was flown here from Tahlequah in the patrol airplane by Lieut. Art Hamilton after it was learned the victim was suffering from Leukemia. Trooper McCowan rushed the baby to University Hospital, but death struck shortly after midnight. The mother, Mrs. Charlie Dobbs, is shown getting into the patrol car."
